Steven "Zhuzh Judy" Hilliard is the founder of House of Adam and Steve, Hamilton's queer party planners. Kicked out of his family home at 16 for being queer, Steven snuck into a downtown gay bar, watched his first drag performance, and found his calling in a single night. His mum nicknamed him "Lucky" — born on a Friday the 13th, under a full moon. Since 2015 he has produced hundreds of drag brunches, bingo nights, theatre takeovers and seasonal blowouts across Hamilton and beyond, turning the city's bars, theatres and restaurants into safer, joy-filled queer spaces. When the wig goes on he becomes Zhuzh Judy, whose superpower is warp-speed flight and whose mission is simple: to make people happy. Want House of Adam and Steve at your event?
